How do I care for my tattoo/piercing?

On completion your tattoo will be dressed with cling film which you should leave on for a few hours, once removed gently wash with mild soapy water. Feel free to redress your tattoo overnight to avoid sticking to the sheets! The following day apply aftercare cream (we personally recommend Palmers Cocoa Butter or a similar lotion), do this around 3 times a day in thin layers. Be sure to keep your tattoo clean but avoid strong soaps/scrubbing, also avoid bathing or submerging under water (showering is fine). We also don’t recommend swimming, sun exposure or fake tanning until the tattoo is completely healed which usually takes 1 – 3 weeks. Please don’t pick any scabs or flakes from your new tattoo as this can damage the skin and can lead to scarring.

We do offer one free touch up within 6 months of getting your tattoo done but you will be charged for any more after that so please take care of your tattoo!

For piercing aftercare please use sea salt mixed with boiled water (let it cool down first) twice daily. Depending on your piercing the time for healing varies so please consult with our piercer so you know what to expect.

We offer a free downsize once it is healed!

When handling fresh tattoos/piercings please make sure your hands are clean.
